This policy explains what cookies are, how our website uses them, and how you can control them. In short, our website does not at present set any cookies of its own, and we do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Younes Group is a trading name of Younes Estates Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17535539) whose registered office is at 4th Floor, Flat 3, 182 to 184 Edgware Road, London W2 2DS.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the owners of a website.
Similar technologies, such as pixels, tags and local storage, work in much the same way. In this policy we use the word "cookies" to cover all of them. The law that governs their use is the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
2. Types of cookie
- Strictly necessary cookies are essential for a website to work, for example to keep it secure or to remember what you have entered in a form as you move between pages. They do not need your consent.
- Functional cookies remember choices you make, such as your preferred language, so that the website can adapt to you.
- Analytics cookies collect statistical information about how a website is used, such as which pages are visited most often, so that the website can be improved.
- Advertising cookies track your browsing across different websites in order to show you advertising based on your interests.
Cookies may be first party, set by the website you are visiting, or third party, set by another organisation whose content appears on that website. They may be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.
3. How our website uses cookies
At present, our website does not set any cookies of its own. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or social media tracking, and we do not build a profile of you as you browse.
If, in future, we need a strictly necessary cookie, for example to keep an enquiry form secure, we will list it here.
Our web server keeps a standard log of requests made to the website, which includes your IP address, the type of browser you use and the pages you visit. This is not a cookie. We use these logs only to keep the website secure and running properly, and we keep them for no longer than 12 months. Our Privacy Policy explains more.
4. Web fonts
Our website uses its own typefaces, which we host on our own server. Your browser loads them from our website like any other part of the page, so no information about your visit is sent to a third party font service, and no cookies are involved.
5. If we add analytics in future
If we decide to use analytics to understand how our website is used, we will update this policy first, to explain which tools we use and what information they collect.
The law allows certain analytics cookies to be used without consent, provided that they are used only to collect statistical information so that we can improve our website, that we explain them clearly, and that we give you a simple and free way to object. Where we rely on this, we will tell you how to object. For any other cookie that is not strictly necessary, and for any advertising cookie, we will ask for your consent before it is set, and you will be able to change your mind at any time.
6. How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to see which cookies are stored, to delete them, and to block cookies from all websites or from particular websites. The help pages for the most common browsers explain how:
- Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome
- Apple Safari: support.apple.com/safari
- Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org
- Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com
Please note that if you block all cookies, some websites may not work as intended. You can find further independent information about cookies at ico.org.uk.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever we change how our website uses cookies or similar technologies. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
